22/01/2023 – A person who refused to acknowledge highway restrictions on the M25 following a motorway incident has been fined at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. He was ordered to pay:
- a £750 fine
- £75 in victim surcharge and
- £625 in legal costs.
They also had three penalty points added to his licence.
A total of £1,450 for ignoring the M25 lane closure at junction 29 of the road.
“Those who fail to comply with these not only put themselves at risk but put our officers and Highways officers who are trying to safely resolve the incident at risk.” Read more here.
